It's Nearly Over :(

I for one, will miss the Olympics, I've really enjoyed the last 2 weeks, they are truly amazing athletes, & we have been blessed with some great moments.

The Aussie guy who won the gold for the mens pole-vault blew me away, I was so excited, sat up till forever, to see him win that gold. We play the USA in the women's basketball final tonight, good luck to both teams, I hope it's a great game. Our swimmers & rowers did well, so very proud of them all, I cry at everyone's national anthem, I'm a sucker for the gold medal winner LOL.

Will watch the closing ceremony tomorrow night, next stop London in 4yrs time, wow I'll be turning 50 that year, sobs!!! I wonder what the next 4 years will bring, its exciting & scary all at the same time, I wonder IF we'll all still be here *smiles* well I hope the bloody fanfic & Gale are, later everyone,,hugs Jxx

I'm a little sad the Olympics are nearly over too :(. Hey, who knows, maybe we'll go to London to actually see the next ones. I know college will be over for me (if everything goes well) in 4 yrs so who knows what might happen :)! And of course the fanfics and Gale will still be there! OMG could you imagine the world without them?!

yes I moved to Aussie land when I was 12 yrs old, but Im still British, much to my childrens dismay, still have my British passport & 'll always be British, I love London as well, have been back home for a visit many times, took 2 of my kids 4 yrs ago, my Aunty was dying & she wanted to meet my babies, so we went for 6 weeks, she passed away 3 days after we left :( Ive never been back since,,Oh well *wipes eyes* see you soon, hope you make it to London one day, I want to go back to New York, I met Gale there you see in 2007, it's VERY special to me :)

Hasn't it been fantastic! The Aussie athletes have done our flag proud. They have all been so gracious and just a delight to watch and listen to.

I was also captivated with Steve Hooker, but I have to admit, Matthew Mitcham winning the diving last night was my favourite. What a cutie!
