Update Post,,& No more B&J Pics from Me :(
Aug. 9th, 2008 12:06 pmHi Guys,,
Just thought I'd post & let you know that Harrison's leg is a lot better, he will however "not" be shaving his legs again :) it frightened the hell out of him, thats good I think :)
Off to the rugby today, my 15yr old son is playing his semi-final, if they win they go straight to the grand final in 2 weeks, if not they get another shot at it next week, I feel a little nervous, watching on the side line sucks :)
Love that the Olympics have started, I wish them ALL well, it's a buffet' for sports lovers, I can't wait to see our swimmers, they are quite good you know!!
And until I can learn how to do an LJ cut, I won't be posting anymore pictures. I'm sorry the last one was long, well longer than usual, but it was 308 & you can;t post 2 pics, I'll keep trying & see if I can get my friends to help me, I just can;t work out where to put that freakin curser arrow, I know some people are more pissed off with it than others, I sometimes have to scroll through LOTS of posts, but I'm ok with it, I'll be back ASAP I promise, I have some gorgeous pics to share with you all.
Well off to watch the Olympics, the swimmings on soon,,later everyone,,Jxx

Just had to post one last pic of him, *grins*

To do an lj cut, with text, I'll put in sort of column form because it won't let you do it otherwise, it picks up the code.
<
lj-cut
=
"text of what you want to label the cut as"
>
Then when you are done with what you want to put behind the cut it's:
<
/lj-cut
>
Just make sure you do everything in one long line, it isn't like the way I typed it, but I had to do it that way because, like I said, lj picks up the code and you wouldn't see it if I did it that way.
you can try it and make the entry personal, then go to the front page of your lj, not 'view the entry' because it doesn't show the cut, you have to go to the page where all your entries are.
for a simple cut it's,
<
lj-cut>
After you put what you want, it's the same end code as when you are finished with the cut-tag when you use text.

Date: 2008-08-09 03:27 am (UTC)Glad Harrison has been scared off of razors and very happy that he's okay. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Rugby (I think we were doing something similar last Saturday! lol) and go watch some of the Olympics now myself. It's funny, I wasn't that interested before they started by now that they're here, the sports fanatic in me wants to watch.
sending a hug your way! ((hugs))

Date: 2008-08-09 04:29 am (UTC)Right, he should just wax next time! ;DDD
Cuts are easy, Jackie. [lj-cut]Load up your pictures or type your post.[/lj-cut] Only use <> instead of [] as I did in my examples. LJ will automatically write Read More in the cut link. You can also name your cut if you want, but the way I demo'd is the quickest.

I love the Olympics - will definitely be cheering on the mighty Aussies from the sidelines. Did you catch the opening ceremony - what a spectacle!

Date: 2008-08-09 07:12 am (UTC)I'm glad Harrison's leg is better. My grandbaby took a layer off of her leg trying to shave (dry!), and scared the crap out of her mother and I. I'd like to think she learned her lesson, but she's 8 and has the attention span of a gnat. She's already decided it would have worked if she'd have been in the shower. Scary. We had to hide all the razors in the house.
Go Sports Mom! That was my life since Kendall was 5 (soccer) and even though she's 24 now, she wants her mom and grandparents in the stands cheering her on when she plays. Adorable.

Date: 2008-08-09 12:04 pm (UTC)I'm glad to hear that your son is recovering well. That must have been horrible.
I'll miss my B/J in the morning, so try this formula:
Type this immediately before the stuff you want under the cut (removing spaces):
< lj-cut >
then put all the stuff you want in between
Now at the end of the stuff you want under the cut type this (removing spaces):
< /lj-cut >
Maybe this will help a bit.
*HUGS*
