Do you know, I really love it here on LJ, people are so kind & so generous, it's just wonderful & I feel so grateful to have met you all, that a TV show could bring us all together, it's truly mind boggling to me :)

To the very talented furriboots who made me the most gorgeous icon's from pics that I posted here on LJ, thank you, I'll be updating them asap, to the sweetest girl on the LJ galesweetie I loved my "kissing" picscam, it was lovely chatting to you, one day we'll have that LJ lunch, I promise you, & to my dearest friend mickiebg who posted my B&J post513 fic for me over on the BJfic site, thanks babe, what would I do without you :)

To EJ hansardgal who spent 40 mins on the phone telling me how to post a pic on my LJ, see it's all her fault, & to bodleian who kindly brought Fathers & Sons on DVD for me for $5.00 & agreed to post it to me, & we'd never even spoken to each other, like wow, isn't that great? & finally to Sam marilla_pm67 who is going to send me Vanished D/loaded epi1-7 on DVD, as I'm to stupid to work it out for myself, Oh & one more thing, the ever generous jans_intentions is sending me a bowl she made for herself, because I commented on it & said how much I liked it, see now you know why I love it here on the LJ, I'd better go, I'm getting all misty eyed,,thanks to you all,,Jxx

I think one of the best things about the internet and all the varied interest groups that are represented online is the opportunity to make friends with so many people you'd never in your life be able to connect with otherwise. You can be a fandom person, a political blogger, a home-schooling parent, a gardener, a pet owner, whatever your fancy is and there are people to talk to about those things.

I don't know how often I've started a sentence with, "Oh, one of my online friends in Germany/Canada/Mexico/Australia/wherever said the most interesting thing the other day..." It's not just businesses who go global anymore; we do, too! ;))
