Is it me, or is it very quiet on LJ today, what have you been up to, I'd love to know, just got back from a baby shower, & off to read some fic, next weekend is the Sydney G&L Mardi Gras, can't wait, it's the 30th Anniversary, wouldn't we all have fun there, as BK once said "It's the Gayest place on earth" Hugs Jxx

Lucky you being able to go to Mardi Gras. We have a Pride Parade here but on a small scale but still so wonderful to go to...can't wait for news and pics of your one.

I've been up to nothing except writing drabbles in between doing housework and thinking about having to go to work in 3 hours *sad*..would rather stay here and write.

I think LJ is slow cause we are awake while the rest of the world sleeps!

I'm not up to much. We've been doing some remodeling and painting. We saw the movie Juno and it was great. Have you seen it yet?
I also got tickets for Randy's play, Waiting for Godot, for August 2 and August 4.
We bought a puppy a few weeks ago and she will finally be here tomorrow so we're excited about that.
Still hoping we see Gale in something new soon!!

this is going to be SO quick, 'cause internet's shaky, but had to reply, 'cause I just had to tell you!

my internet's been off-line all day, only now back, been going out of my mind. HOWEVER. it was a blessing in disguise... guess who's up to 6500 words on Purr-fect love chapter 9?! I was hoping for 2500!!!! but then they started fucking, and then it got interrupted with a bit of emotion, and Justin cried a bit, and Brian hold him, and omg... ending SO hot!!! LOL at least, I hope so, I'll let you and woudlbedorothy be the judge when I finally post it.

now, have to start at the beginning, and edit and polish the 6500 words draft into something readable.

Oh Mardi Gras sounds like it would be so much fun, plus the added advantage of great weather. We are still stuck in the dead of winter. More snow this week and it is freaking cold (-4C). I told Jan I was jealous of her yesterday as she went out and bought some spring flowers and it was warm in BC (15C). I bought some tulips for the office last week to cheer us up since we won't see any flowers outside until at least late April.

Well, I've been up since 7:30 (even though I swore I was going to sleep later today!)but my eyes popped open at 7 and that was it for me!
I'm trying to play catch up on my reading and emails.
I have NOTHING planned today! YES! lol! Need to relax and just be.

Your lovely Macy's J, (my job) had a One Day Sale that started yesterday! It was nuts, so many people came out to shop! Which kinda surprised me because it was snowing like crazy out and we had about 6' on the ground by 7am that morning!!!! lol!
In all the years I have been in retail I will never understand what is so important that anyone would come out of their nice warm houses in a snowstorm to buy a freakin POT!!??? ::giggles::

If I don't get a chance next week...have a wonderful time and have a drink for me !
