Look What stephmck Made Me,,,

OMG Isn't this icon just gorgeous? I just brought the Vanity Fair magazine "finally" on EBay, because of this cover with Gale on it, he looks so sexy in this shot, I even love the beard, so I asked dearest stephmck if she could make me an icon & this is what she did, just for me, "Thank You" so much, I'll be forever grateful, I need more user-pics on LJ, will have to work that out later :D

BTW if anyone cares Andy Roddick just lost in the 5th set, a marathon 5 setter, I wish I'd gone to Melbourne now to watch the tennis,,Oh well next year!!

Who was Roddick playing? My husband is a major tennis fan and the Australian open is on TV here at a freaking 3am. We are not Roddick fans so don't really care that he lost(as long as Federer wins, we are happy)but I am curious who beat him.

Hi Furri, I have no idea he is, never heard of him before, from Germany, played the match of his life, of course Federer is in :P we normally go every year, for 4 days to Melbourne, but we missed out on tickets, it sells out months before & you really take pot luck, with who you see, but we saw everyone last year Safin, Roddick, all the women, Sharapova, & the Williams sisters, we have such fun, but it's so hot there, like 50 degrees on Centre court sometimes, how the hell they do it, Ill never know, I want to go to the US Open one year, I'd love that, been watching tennis for years, so lovely to see that Jan posted Apple, will read it asap, she's such a wonderful person I bet she's a great friend as well, if me & my hubbie ever make it, we want to come in a few years time, Ill let you know,,hugs J.xx

Thanks for the tennis update. I did my usual trick of falling asleep on the sofa just before the 5th set, and when I woke up it was long over.

We would of been at that match, IF we had gone to Melbourne, we always go to the night match on the Friday, thank God we weren't, we would of ended up sleeping there, finished around 2.00am, great match, Jordan & I watched it together, glad you liked my icon,,it's sooooo me!!!!, thank again, love you,,J,xx Of to Mums tonight, staying there with the kids, she's a little lonely,,misses Dad,,bye

Yeah I finally got it, Jan told me about it being on EBay, so E ordered it for me, I dont have a paypal account, Im so excited, he's just gorgeous on the front cover, Ill show it to you, when you come over,,squeeeeeee, so excited, I'll be staying the 4 days in the city with you, the kids will all be on school holidays again then, want you all to come here for lunch & to meet my family & Mum of course, then we'll go back into Sydney and "party", hope your well, hows your Mum, it's my Dads 2 year anniversary next week, 26th Jan, its actually "Australia Day" here, shes getting a little sad, we miss him so,,hugs to you OK,,love J.xx

I'm sorry that this coming week is going to be difficult for you. I know how hard it is to watch your mom missing your dad, of course my mom is going through the same thing.
