Just thought I'd let you all know that Jordan is feeling much better today.

He looks bloody terrible :) but it could of been a lot worse. All your posts & kind words were very much appreciated, I showed them to him this morning before he went off to school, he was quite surprised, & told me to say "thank you" to you all.

I'm just off to the school now to pick them up, I'll be back tonight to post some pics, enjoy your evening,,later Jx

I am sorry to hear that Jordan got hurt,boy that sounds like a vicious sport, but glad to hear he is feeling much better today.
That is one good thing about young boys you can never keep them down for long, hope he recovers faster then normal

I'm glad that he is recovering. I have this theory that boys should be locked away when they reach puberty and not let out again until they are at least 30. I think that this sort of supports me.

It always breaks our heart when our kids get hurt. I'm so glad Jordan is better! And I meant to say, good luck to you in your new business! Sounds like fun.

I just read your entry about what happened to your son! School sports can provide a lot of fun and pride for the kids and the families involved,but it can also sometimes be a bit scary!
I'm sorry that he was hurt,but very happy that he's feeling better,and hope you're doing better as well.

I have to laugh. I know it's boys and their love for rough sports that give us gray hair... but it's my daughter Kendall that has a Titanium Rod in her arm. She had to get it after shattering her bone playing soccer! So much for being girly!

She still plays soccer, and I still cringe at how physical it can get. My baby is 25 and an Engineer, but the rougher the game, the more she loves it. The rest of the time, she is a calm, cool, collected young professional, but during the game, she is hell on wheels.

Yes, I have gray hair (that I cover), and no, they don't always outgrow it. I keep wondering what will happen when she gets married and has kids. (Oh who am I kidding, she plans on teaching them soccer!)

I'm glad Jordan is feeling better... how is his mom doing?

hi Jackie! I read your previous post and was going to write back, but I'm away from home for 3 weeks and I'm using a cell connection. sometimes it refuses to open the pages :(( today it seems more cooperative :) I'm happy that your son is recovering, I bet he scared you to death... these kids always manage to make us grow more gray hair... take care of him, I think he needs his mum to be very supportive at the moment, uh?

I am so glad to hear that Jordan is okay. I don't suppose that this will make him more cautious in the future. I don't know how you do it. I would be worrying myself sick with 5 kids especially if they were boys playing these rough sports. I fret enough about my one daughter.

I need to ask you something. Was thinking rather than a picnic in CP, it may be hot or raining, & very hard to meet up, how about a function place, like a pub, bar, hotel, where we can all meet, hire out the room, so no one esle there except us QaF girls, with lunch & drinks provided, with a set price per person.

This is wonderful news J. I read your other post just a moment ago and was thinking how horrific his injuries sounded, so I am glad it was not as worse as it could have been.
