How can I get a Dreamwidth Account??

Hi guys,

So how does all this work?

Can anyone help me, apparently you need an invite, is that correct. I don't want to have to pay for it, but do you have to, if you want lots of user-pics?

& do you post there, just like here on the LJ.

It seems like lots of you are joining up there, don't want to be left behind *smiles*

I don't have one but it's similair to LJ.

You have to pay for Extra Userpics.

With a Free Account you have 6 Userpics and only a few standard layout's that are premade that you can use/utilise.

You have to get an existing Dreamwidth Member to provide you with a code for you to sign up.

Well, I have tried to set up an account. but being the technotard that I am, I keep getting error messages. I used my LJ account name, but no luck. When I ask for an e-mail with user name, I get something with numbers. I use that and it asks for a password, I give my password and it tells me "open ID accounts do not use a password"..
What am I doing wrong? (besides not knowing what I am doing in the first place?)

Well I bloody hope so, other wise my hubbie will kill me. I haven't even told him yet (why do we do this lol) Ill tell him tomoorow.

I have NO idea how to use the DW account. How to friend anyone, read my flist, I did post, I figured that out, & LJ er Brokeaholic replied to me, it showed up on my Gmail, but unlike LJ, I couldn't reply from the email, back to DW, like I do on LJ,,so I;ll keep on doodling, a few people friended me, Im going to post on LJ about it, you remembered my password, you clever devil, the underscore is different from LJ, it sits on the line,,hugs ya, again thanks love,,jx
